Summer Horns

Dave Koz and Friends Summer Horns is a musical collaboration led by renowned saxophonist Dave Koz. This ensemble (which also includes Marcus Anderson, Jeff Bradshaw, Leo P, Evan Taylor and Marcel Anderson) fuses classic hits of the 70’s, with horn arrangements that highlight the the best music of that incredible era.

Dave Koz

Dave Koz is a saxophonist, composer, and radio host, widely recognized for his contributions to smooth jazz. He began playing the saxophone in his youth and quickly rose to prominence in the late 1980s, touring with artists like Bobby Caldwell and Richard Marx. His solo career took after his self-titled debut album was released in 1990 (on Capitol Records) and has since led to numerous chart-topping albums, Grammy nominations, and collaborations with icons such as Celine Dion, Stevie Nicks, and Barry Manilow. Koz's engaging stage presence and musical versatility have made him a staple in contemporary jazz, while his popular syndicated radio show and annual Dave Koz & Friends At Sea cruises have expanded his influence beyond music. With a legacy built on innovation, collaboration, and a passion for performance, Dave Koz remains one of jazz’s most enduring and influential figures.

Marcus Anderson

Marcus Anderson is a Grammy and Stellar Award-nominated saxophonist, composer, and producer from Spartanburg, South Carolina. Born into a musically gifted family, he began performing in church at a young age, later studying jazz at North Carolina Central University.. With 18 studio albums to his name, Anderson's music blends jazz, R&B, pop, rock, and funk, and has earned him five Billboard No. 1 hits and recognition on SiriusXM's jazz station Watercolors. He has performed with artists like Prince, Stevie Wonder, CeeLo Green, and Judith Hill, and has appeared on major television shows such as The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and The Arsenio Hall Show. Beyond music, Anderson owns the company "AND Coffee" and hosts the annual Jazz and Coffee Festival in Asheville, NC.

Jeff Bradshaw

Jeff Bradshaw is a Philadelphia-born trombonist renowned for his fusion of jazz, R&B, and hip-hop. Raised in a musically rich family, his father, a minister and musician, introduced him to brass instruments early on. Choosing the trombone over more popular instruments in high school, Bradshaw aimed to bring the instrument into contemporary music. His debut album, Bone Deep (2003), showcased his unique sound and set the stage for a prolific career. Over the years, he has collaborated with artists like Michael Jackson, The Roots, Erykah Badu, and Jill Scott, and has been a key figure in the Philadelphia neo-soul movement.

Leo P

Leo P, a dynamic baritone saxophonist from Pittsburgh, has made a name for himself with his electrifying performances and unique musical fusion. Best known for his work with the brass trio Too Many Zooz, Leo blends jazz, funk, and EDM into a distinctive sound that defies traditional genre boundaries. His viral subway performances in New York City, alongside his bold stage presence and dancing, caught the attention of audiences worldwide. Over the years, Leo has collaborated with high-profile artists, including Beyoncé, and performed at prestigious venues like Royal Albert Hall. His solo debut album Comin' Up Aces (2022) highlights his musical versatility, incorporating experimental and innovative sounds that push the limits of modern jazz. Leo P continues to redefine what the baritone saxophone can do, cementing his place as one of the most exciting artists in contemporary jazz.

Evan Taylor

Evan Taylor is a trumpet artist from Ludington, Michigan, whose musical journey began in church and has since expanded into jazz, R&B, gospel, hip-hop, and beyond. Taylor has performed with artists such as Gloria Estefan, Dave Koz, Delfeayo Marsalis, and The Righteous Brothers. He has also contributed to projects for Netflix, HGTV, and BET, and was signed to Warner Chappell Music in 2018. Currently based in Bloomington, Indiana, Taylor serves as an Assistant Instructor for the Indiana University Soul Revue and is pursuing a doctoral degree in jazz studies at the Jacobs School of Music.

Marcel Anderson

Marcel Anderson is a neo-soul and contemporary gospel artist from Spartanburg, South Carolina. Raised in a musically rich family, he began singing at the age of eight and later formed the award-winning R&B group Three Part Harmony. His debut album, Still Living (2014), released alongside his memoir of the same name, chronicles his survival of a violent home invasion and his journey toward healing. Marcel is also the founder of Accelerating Men Inc., a nonprofit mentoring organization with a mission to educate, train and cultivate young and adult men to live a healthy lifestyle that reflects their true identity. Anderson continues to inspire audiences worldwide with his soulful music and message of resilience.
